Tom Forkner

Tom has had a long and successful career in commercial real estate, dating back to 1979. After six years as an associate broker with a local real estate company, he took over the reins of Forkner Realty Company, a business that had been founded by his grandfather in 1910. Under Tom’s leadership, Forkner Realty flourished for over a decade before he made the decision to deactivate the company in 1991.

Tom next went on to create The Quin Group, where he currently serves as CEO and an associate broker. With a focus on land development, as well as the sale and leasing of office, retail, industrial as well as Business Brokerage. Tom has become a respected figure in the real estate industry.

But Tom’s contributions extend far beyond his work in commercial real estate. He is a devoted community member who has served on the board of numerous non-profit organizations. In 1995, he graduated from the prestigious Leadership Gwinnett program, which is dedicated to developing and enhancing the leadership skills of professionals in the Gwinnett County area.

In 2011, Tom was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for his outstanding work in developing and teaching a martial arts program for adults with developmental disabilities. Over the course of 11 years, the program produced an impressive 11 black belts, a testament to Tom’s commitment to his students and his community. Today, Tom is still involved in the martial arts and holds the impressive rank of master, 7th Dan in the traditional Korean art of Tang Soo Do.
